Signing up with Annotated Life is required in order to enjoy the key features of this site and build your personalized Annotated Life profile. When signing up, please provide accurate information and review the Terms of Use.
Anyone can join. All that is needed is a valid email address to use our annotation writing feature and ratings feature.
From our Sign Up page, just provide us with your email address, password, displayed name, gender, and birthday. After you complete the sign up form, we will send an email to the address you provided. Clicking on the confirmation link will complete the sign up process.
You can reset your password by clicking the "Forgot your password" link from the login box and follow the instructions from there.
You can change your Annotated Life password at any time from your user profile page. Click on Change Password option and reset your password.
You can login to your profile and click on Change Personal Information. You can unselect the Privacy option.
"Site Maintenance" usually means we are making an improvement to the database that your account is stored on. During this time you will not be able to access your account. Most maintenance will last only a few hours.
AnnotatedLife is tested on Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 2.

If you find the comment or content to be inappropriate you can report annotation by clicking on Mark as Abusive. The annotation is promptly reviewed by Annotated Life administrators (within 48 hours) who immediately remove any content that violates the Terms of Use.
You must be logged in to post annotations. Once logged in you can post your own views by selecting the highlighted sentence of interest. A refreshed window displays the verse you selected and a grey box of User Annotations. Click on Add your own annotations and begin your annotation journey. You can select privacy options for each annotation.
